Cause Analysis of Rail Corrugation Based on Stick-slip Characteristics

By analyzing the measured corrugation data, cause of rail was discussed theoretically. Then, vehicle-track coupling model used to study stick-slip characteristics wheel-rail system. Finally, explained by combining modal analysis and relation. The transverse curve on inner rail-inner wheel leading wheelset presents a negative slope characteristic, which makes easy slide surface aggravates wear rail; there are also sections outer rail-outer trailing wheelset, but adhesion coefficient is relatively large, indicating that will not obviously small. Meantime, with increase line radius, phenomenon curves sides shows decreasing trend, illustrates sliding gradually reduced, thus occurrence probability decreases. Combined analysis, it can be seen action discs bending vibration bending-torsional main under condition system slope.
